At Finish Something, we believe your productivity data belongs to you. Our approach is simple: we do not collect, store, or sell your personal information.
1. Application Data & Ownership
Finish Something is a local-first application. We do not provide cloud storage, and we have no access to your projects.
- Save As Workflow: The application uses a native "Save As" workflow, meaning you have full control over where your files (
.fsboard) are stored. - User-Controlled Storage: Whether you save your projects to your local hard drive, an encrypted volume, or your own third-party cloud-sync folder (such as iCloud, Dropbox, or OneDrive), that data remains under your exclusive control.
- Zero Transmission: We never transmit your project files or content to our infrastructure.
- No Telemetry: The application does not "phone home" with usage statistics or analytics. We only receive information if you explicitly choose to contact us for support.
2. Website Infrastructure
Our website is designed to be a transparent information resource without invasive tracking.
- No Tracking: We do not use marketing cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics scripts.
- Security & Delivery: We use Cloudflare to ensure the site is fast and secure. Cloudflare may process technical metadata, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and prevent abuse. This data is not used by us for any other purpose.
3. Store Transactions
Purchases are handled through the Microsoft Store and Apple App Store. Your billing information is processed by those platforms under their respective privacy policies. We do not see or store your credit card details.
4. Identity & Contact
The data controller is:
Martin Rudinec
IČO: 66554331
Email: [email protected]
5. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete any personal data we hold. Given our architecture, the only personal data we may possess is information you provide voluntarily via email support.
Any support emails we receive are kept for a maximum of 12 months and then securely deleted, unless required for legal reasons.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů) at www.uoou.cz.
